Dear
Friends:
Sometimes our
spiritual path takes us in different and unexpected
directions. A few years ago, I was comfortably
living in Dallas, Texas, when my intuition spoke
loud and clear to me. My inner guide said, "You need
to move to Houston within the next two months." The
message was so strong that I decided to do some
research and seriously think about this opportunity.
I posted my resume on
Monster and I was quickly contacted by a recruiter
from NASA. I flew to Houston, interviewed for the
job, and got an apartment - all in one day. I moved
to Houston within the two month period, and thanks
to this move I met my wife. If I had not moved to
Houston, we would have never met.
A few years later, we
had a wonderful child. This child is what Doreen
Virtue, Ph.D., describes as a "Crystal Child" - a
child filled with light and love. Doreen's book is
my recommendation for this month. This book is a
fascinating look at a new generation of children
born between 1999 and 2003. According to Doreen,
these children are highly telepathic and will bring
a new level of spiritual teachings into the world.
It will be very interesting to see what happens to
with children over the next twenty years.
The Inspirational Corner - The Sun and the Wind
Years ago, when I
was a young boy, my father told me a story about the
sun and the wind.
One day the sun and
the wind were arguing about who was the strongest.
The wind said, “I’ll prove I am. See the old man
wearing a coat; I can get that coat off of him
quicker than you can.”
So the sun went
behind the clouds, and the wind blew until it was
almost a tornado. But the harder he blew, the harder
the old man hanged on to his coat. Finally, the wind
calmed down and gave up.
Then, the sun came
out from behind the clouds, and smiled kindly on the
old man. The old man smiled back and took off his
coat. The sun told the wind that gentleness and
friendliness were always stronger than fury and
force.
Always remember
that kindness, a friendly approach, and
appreciation, can make people change their minds
more readily than all the bluster and storming in
the world. As Lincoln once said, “A drop of honey
catches more flies than a gallon of vinegar.”
Book Review -
Crystal Children
Crystal Children
reflect the new generation that has come to the
Earth plane after the Indigo Children. They are
approximately ages 0 through 5, although some
members of the first wave of Crystal Children are as
old as 7. These children are like Indigos—highly
psychic and sensitive—but without the dark edge and
the anger energy. The term Crystal Children is
already taking hold worldwide, and people everywhere
are talking about these special kids. Since Doreen
is the only researcher who is publicly giving
speeches on the subject, her audiences have been
asking her for a book on the topic. It’s a natural
sequel to her book The Care and Feeding of Indigo
Children.
As babies, Crystal
Children may take longer than normal to begin
talking. They are highly telepathic, and their
tuned-in mothers communicate with them nonverbally.
Because they’re so sensitive, the Crystal Children
babies may fuss and cry a lot in crowded places.
They’re also very fond of nature. Doreen once
watched one Crystal Child walk from tree to tree,
giving each one a big hug.
Crystal Children
are beautiful inside and out, like magnificent
little high-priests and priestesses. One look in
their eyes, and you’ll recognize Divine love and
wisdom. Their auras are bright, radiant, and
opalescent—they seem to glow from the inside! They
talk about past lives, distant galaxies, and
profound insights concerning peace and love. Most
Crystal Children’s parents are aware that their kids
are special, and they’re thrilled to be parenting
such delightful children.
The book includes
many interviews with Crystal Children, their
parents, and teachers. It discusses parenting and
teaching methods that are essential to keeping these
children happy and healthy, and how to avoid
pitfalls that could spoil their special gifts.
Music Reviews - The Sound of Peace and Possible
Dreams
THE SOUND OF
PEACE is an appropriate title for this gentle,
relaxing, contemporary instrumental recording of
acoustic piano music with a light synthesizer
backing (often the sounds of strings, but
occasionally other instruments as well). Combining
some tightly-composed pieces with others that are
highly improvisational over a loose structure, the
music reflects Fluker's classical training with
hints of his extensive work in R&B (Brenda Russell,
Regina Bell), gospel (Mavis Staples, The Earl Nelson
Singers) and smooth jazz (saxophonist Michael
Lington). Primarily John has worked extensively with
legendary singer Gladys Knight over the past
decade-and-a-half and for several years served not
only as her piano accompanist, but also as her
musical director (and appeared on two of her
albums). In addition, THE SOUND OF PEACE held the #1
position on two consecutive national New Age
Reporter Top 100 radio airplay charts.
Elise Lebec's new
CD, POSSIBLE DREAMS, features original solo
piano compositions that blaze new paths in this
genre. Her music is inspired by peace, dreams,
Mother Earth, love, evolving spirituality, angels,
children, compassion, nurturing energy. Her original
piano style mixes hauntingly-beautiful melody lines
with tempo changes and stunning dynamics to create
an absolutely unique sound. Pianist Elise Lebec
hopes that when people hear her music, it helps them
to dream about a better world and then encourages
them to make those dreams come true. "Dreaming is
one of the best of all human traits," Elise says,
because it is much easier to attain a goal if you
have already visualized it. What do you want your
life to be like? What type of world do you want to
live in? After you answer those questions, it's
logical to try to figure out how to make it happen.
I hope that while people are listening to my music,
they will think of new ideas and new ways of doing
things. They might work toward large goals like
peace for our planet or simply try to make their own
life happier. Anything positive we add to this world
makes it a better place for all of us.
Excerpts
from the Book "Insights" by Rama Dr. Frederick Lenz
Freedom
Freedom is the
ability to dream:
To be able to roam endlessly through
The multifaceted mind of eternity.
Beyond this thin
surface of existence
That we call life, is perennial awareness:
A field of both light and dark dreams.
Think it over.
Beyond this moment are all
Other possible moments,
Existing forever like dark stars in
A white night sky.
There is no beginning or ending to any of this,
It all goes on, as do we, forever.
Freedom is the
ability to dream new dreams,
As you roam happily through the mind of God;
Your current self is one of those dreams,
As are all of your experiences in each new life.
To free your mind
from the dreams of self
And explore enlightened levels of
Perception is to practice yoga;
All that is required is a yen to travel
Through that hidden country that we call nirvana.
